Peculiar weather - The Change of Times

     Since this last summer, I couldn't overlook how our weather in "sunny" CA is unstable. for a better word. The summer looked like someone suppressing the rays of sunshine for another season. Overcast and dull. Now since fall has arrived, it seems like summer wants to make a glorious comeback, posting record heat of 113deg in
Los Angeles! All my female friends are sad because they want to wear their latest fall fashions, but due to the wonderful heat, have  to wait. Two days ago, it was raining cats and dogs, however in two days it will be 80deg.
I personally would like a little more "cool" since it is fall. I have noticed that more earthquakes occur during this fluctuation of temperatures'. I'm not predicting earthquakes, however, I feel there might be a connection somewhere. The Drs' will have to figure it out. It's like after the cold and rain, the sun peaks out, and your roof or house makes that cracking noise; due to the cold expansion or the heat contracting. It happens often weather you hear or see it. I can't help but wonder what the future holds in terms of weather. We have a flurry of movies depicting massive destruction, "The Day After Tomorrow", "2012", "Deep Impact", etc. Maybe the system will sort out in the end. When I was a kid, summer was summer. We might have a summer shower or two, but not
transposing months of rain for heat. Off shore flow is understood. What is interesting is it's not something out of the ordinary anymore, it's the norm.
